The Marriage Plus course is not a self-teaching book or workbook. Throughout the course students are challenged to develop convictions, assigned homework, practice new skills, and are interacting with their fellow students. Groups follow a 230-page manual and are taught in 7 units by a qualified graduate couple or the Wooleys.
Most groups are made up of five or six young couples, meeting once a week for approximately two hours. Marriage Plus groups are hosted in the leader’s home ??? , possibly an older shepherd couple, and always have a clear learning objective for each meeting. Friendships and fellowship is often facilitated by this intimate setting, and we have a lot of fun!
If a group is being taught by extension, weekly meetings are still held but the teaching is provided in intensive blocks throughout the year.

“We completed Marriage Plus almost two years ago and I can’t even begin to tell you how beneficial the M+ course has been in our marriage and in our ministry together. I truly believe the skills we learned have allowed me to go back into full time ministry as a youth pastor.
Rarely a week goes by that we don’t thank God for our rich Marriage Plus experience! It has been invaluable to our lifetime service to the Lord. We are proud to say that our marriage is a living witness to the joy that God intends marriage to be.”
